We have had an amazing Science week this week with a wide range of activities taking part through school. The theme across the school was 'Time'. Year 1 were treated to a Science show by Mrs Dickson and Mrs Sumner where they saw some amazing experiments! Year 2 made pendulums and investigated the effect of weight on the swing against time.

The Juniors were involved in a range of time related activities. Across the school, we have seen such a fantastic range of additional activities which the children thoroughly enjoyed. We are always looking to enhance our provision and offer as many opportunities in STEM subjects.

An Amazing morning with a very special visitor. Our Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 pupils enjoyed their breakfast with Santa this morning, and the whole school wore their Christmas jumpers in support of Christmas Jumper Day for Save the Children. Our Year 3 children also came in to visit Santa - we are certain that that all of our children will be on the 'good ' list this year as once again their behaviour was fantastic!

We have been very fortunate to have had the amazing Pearl of Africa choir in to entertain us, teach us about African singing, drumming and dancing and we have also learnt lots about their school and how we can help them.

The whole school enjoyed an amazing performance this morning from the Choir as well as finding out about their lives.

We then went on to take part in lots of different workshops, the photos and videos below show the amazing things that took place. Listen to us sing and dance!

Fantastic fundraising once again from our pupils for Children in Need 2022. Even Mrs Salkeld was out fundraising from the parents on the school gate! Thank you to everyone who has donated!
