This term, our planning has focussed on the natural environment around us as we notice the changes in the seasons and the increase in wildlife in our Forest Area.

We have definately captured 'Awe and Wonder' with our pond dipping across Year 2 and the Lower Juniors, finding newts and different water beetles. We have used our classification charts to identify them and have also spotted frog spawn. Alongside this, we were fortunate to have the local celebrity duck use our Pond as a nesting area and with her single duckling, shared our space for a few days.

Forest School at Town Green is accessible to all pupils and our pupils love the opportunities that they have to find out more about nature and the environment.
