Welcome to our Admissions page where prospective parents and carers can find out more about the process of applying for our school.

We encourage you to look through our website to get a flavour of life at Aughton Town Green Primary School, or 'Town Green' are we are known. Our school motto ' Only my best is good enough' is reflected in everything we do in school. We strive to give our pupils the very best opportunities, both academically and socially as well as offering a wide range of enrichment opportunities, which includes our well established Forest School for all of our pupils. Our recent OFSTED inspection ( June 2024) where we were graded 'Good' in all areas where inspectors identified that 'children in the early years get off to a flying start'.

The very best way to find out more about us is to arrange a visit to see what we can offer you and your child. We have open days in the Autumn Term for parents and carers, as well as Stay and Play sessions but we also offer individual tours throughout the year, led by our Headteacher, Nick Huxley, or Deputy Headteacher, Caroline Dykes. For 2025 Admissions - pupils born between 1st September 2020 and 31st August 2021, the Lancashire Admissions Portal opens on 1st September 2024. We are running events in the next term for all prospective parents, our very popular Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher tours as well as Stay and play sessions for pupils.

New Intake tours will take place on Thursday 7th November 2024 and Thursday 14th November 2024 at 9.30am, 10am,1.30pm and 2pm with either our Head, Mr Huxley or Deputy Head, Mrs Dykes. Stay and Play sessions for September 2025 intake will take place on Monday 4th November and Tuesday 12th November 2024 from 3.45pm to 4.30pm.
